About Living Healthy Review
Living Healthy Review is a health and food blog about the ordinary version of getting healthier — the meals you can actually cook on a Tuesday, the training you can keep up past week three, and the products worth the money.
Where the site came from
Living Healthy Review first published in 2009 as a review site covering skin care, diet and supplements. From 2015 to 2017 it ran as something quite different: a personal healthy-living diary, written by its founder under the name "Healthy Mom" — jogging challenges counted in weeks, dinners photographed on the way to the table, and honest notes on what was and was not working.
The site went offline after 2017 and its content was lost. What you are reading is a rebuild. Every original web address and publication date has been preserved from the Internet Archive's record of the site, so old links still land where they always did.
Who writes it now
Articles are written and edited by the Living Healthy Review editorial team. The original diary entries could not be recovered, so where a post carries a 2009 or 2016 date, that date marks when the original piece was published — the writing itself is new. We would rather be plain about that than pass new work off as someone else's.
How we work
- Specific over general. Real quantities, real timings, real prices with the date they applied.
- Named sources. If a claim comes from a study or a body like the NHS, we say which one.
- Limits stated. Where evidence is thin or a thing is a matter of preference, we say so instead of dressing it up as a rule.
Not medical advice
Everything here is general information. It is not a diagnosis and it is not a substitute for talking to your GP or pharmacist — particularly for asthma, medication, pregnancy, or any supplement taken alongside a prescription.
